What You Will Do The Operations Manager (OM) is primarily responsible for supervising a high performing team responsible for handling product safely, efficiently, and effectively as it moves through the facility. The OM monitors production volume and responds quickly to changing workflow conditions. This leader contributes positively to the facility’s key performance indicators while also mentoring and building a culture of safety among Associates to achieve a safe working environment. Responsibility Statements: •Ensures all Associates understand and use safe work practices •Completes safety observations of facility •Determines the workload (production volume) for the night sent by corporate; monitors inventory movements in the facility frequently throughout the night •Evaluates staffing needs to meet daily demand; reassigns Associates to new position according to available resources and skill sets to accomplish shift work within established times •Works with Operations Supervisors to set associates up for success; achieves or exceed key performance indicators, safety, performance, and budget targets •Receives and reviews inbound truck schedule; receives and reviews email from rece...
