VP Area: Athletics Department: Athletics: FLSA Status: Exempt: Benefit Eligibility: Yes: Position Summary: The Head Men’s Basketball Coach manages the OCU Men’s Basketball program in a manner that reflects the values and mission of the department and University, serving as a role model and mentor to the student athletes in order to reinforce the highest standards of conduct. The Head Men’s Basketball Coach is a member of the OCU Athletics team and reports to the Athletic Director. Minimum Qualifications: Five (5) years prior experience as a successful head or assistant coach at the collegiate level or as a head coach at the high school level. Preferred Qualifications: Prior successful collegiate coaching experience preferred with NAIA coaching experience a plus; successful development and management of coaching clinics and camps. A suitable combination of education and experience may be substituted for minimum requirements.
