Position Summary The goal of this position is to enhance visitors’ understanding of park resources. This position will provide community outreach and ranger programs. Participate in STEM Science Nights and similar activities at area schools. Develop hands-on activities, interpretive props, and written content that will enhance understanding of park resource. This position will also coordinate community outreach programs and will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing outreach programs with local organizations such as Boys and Girls Club. Location: Richland, WA: Schedule: June 8, 2026 - November 20, 2026 Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Community and Visitor Engagement - Develop and present programs about the Manhattan Project - Develop and present drop-in and hands-on activities at community and school events - Volunteer Coordination and Program Delivery - Recruit, schedule, and support park volunteers to present outreach programs - Facilitate communication between partner organizations and volunteers to ensure smooth program execution - Partnership Engagement - Interface with partner organizations to schedule outreach programs and maintain collaborative relati...
