Job description
As a member of MLB's Games and VR Quality Assurance team, your job is to help us make great baseball games. You work closely with our internal development teams, communicating issues directly to Producers, Software Engineers, Artists, and Designers. Responsibilities: - Authentic Baseball Knowledge Application: Leverage your deep understanding of baseball rules, terminology, and culture to critically assess the accuracy and authenticity of our digital offerings - Rigorous Testing and Analysis: Execute detailed test plans to pinpoint software defects across various aspects of our apps, including gameplay mechanics, visual fidelity, audio experience, and user interface functionality - Comprehensive Bug Reporting: Accurately log and report identified bugs using Jira (or other designated tools). This includes providing clear, concise descriptions, precise steps for reproduction, and any relevant supporting materials such as screenshots or videos - Effective Communication and Collaboration: Actively engage with internal development teams, providing regular updates on testing progress and findings.
