Job description

Senior Practitioner Permanent: Grade D - £45,091 - £53,460 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review Working 36.5 hours per week: A Senior Practitioner position has arisen within the community team, Hodge Hill/Yardley Assessment Team. You will work as part of a Social Work team to deliver on person centred practices where citizens are enabled to exercise choice, control and independence with a focus on positive risk enablement and making safeguarding personal in accordance with the Care Act 2014. You will have significant social work experience, the ability to work positively as part of a skilled team and in partnership with stakeholders with an interest in improving the experiences of citizen of Birmingham. You will supervise the practice of qualified social workers ensuring best practice in adherence to legislative and policy requirements, providing effective supervision and support, professional development in addition to supporting the team manager with overall management of the team and development of the service.
