We are searching for a Peer Recovery Specialist to support clients by offering outreach, encouragement, and support. The Peer Recovery Specialist will cultivate and secure a connection with individuals, while teaching personal responsibility and serving as a mentor and role model. Pay ranges from $20-$22 per hour RESPONSIBILITIES: - Empower clients by helping them identify and remove barriers to their recovery. - Connect clients to resources and organizations to help foster and sustain long‐term recovery. - Meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss routine recovery issues from a peer perspective. - Provide direct assistance in the form of transportation, filling out forms or making phone calls, and accompanying clients to appointments. - Assist in finding necessary community services to meet basic needs. - Interface with family members or other involved parties for the purpose of maintaining or enhancing a person’s functioning and recovery....
