Job Description: GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Equipment Maintenance position is responsible for Maintenance of all equipment owned and operated by Red Wing Shoe Company. Must comply with all Red Wing Shoe safety policies and procedures. Also, responsible for efficiently and effectively maintaining daily operations in an assigned area, including but not limited to assuring equipment maintenance, coordinating production flows, controlling material and resource utilization, supporting safety and quality practices and procedures, and pursuing process improvements. - Must be able to identify and operate basic tools and materials used in machine repair. - Possess basic trouble shooting knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electric and schematics. - Have a basic understanding of electrical fundamentals.
