Position Overview Inabia is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its Rehabilitation Therapy team. The COTA works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist residents in improving functional abilities and regaining independence following illness, injury, or surgery. The facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services , focusing on improving quality of life and supporting patient recovery. Key Responsibilities: Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Assist residents with therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and daily living skills . Provide therapy focused on self-care activities, functional mobility, and adaptive techniques . Monitor and document patient progress and therapy outcomes . Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs and adaptive equipment . Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment notes according to regulatory and facility guidelines.
