Job description

IMEG is hiring a Virtual Design Coordinator in New York, NY, to oversee and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects across disciplines and serve as a primary point of contact for BIM-related questions. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations while working within the project’s monetary budget. Principal Responsibilities: - Partner with the project manager to confirm model setup, configuration, and scope requirements - Participate in client and consultant meetings, including BIM kickoff meetings - Manage project folder organization, file sharing, and archival across IMEG disciplines and external partners - Provide team support for Virtual Design software/programs and escalate issues as needed - Identify training and education needs for standards and BIM/Virtual Design tools - Review working models and PDF deliverables for compliance with modeling and documentation standards - Perform model maintenance using best practices and established standards - Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and support the BIM coordination process - Follow established standards for modeling and drawing production to meet company qua...
