Overview Advanced Technologies and Laboratories (ATL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is hiring for a Scientist I in Richland, WA. This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD). Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities: The Scientist I position supports the Research and Technology Development Organization at the 222-S Laboratory, a DOE laboratory specializing in the analysis of highly radioactive samples. This position will interface with union represented personnel, chemists, engineers, and public. The ideal candidate must be able to qualify as radiological worker. Primary duties include performing non-routine activities and studies, including, but not limited to: waste and environmental sampling/analysis, process control support and data quality, performing and/or reviewing scientific calculations/analyses, preparing specifications, reports, and data tables.
