Job Description Summary The Lead Materials Planner will manage master planning and customer delivery taking into consideration efficient inventory management for Work-in-Process (WIP), Finished Goods (FG) and Capacity constraints. This role is located at the GE Indy site, in close collaboration with the GE Aerospace Materials Planning team, and will facilitate Customer Delivery problem solving for the Parts assigned. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements. - Develop material planning tools in short term and support integration to a more formal ERP system in collaboration with the GE Aerospace Fulfillment team. - Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
