DEPARTMENT: Psychology POSITION TITLE: Lecturer Pool – Psychology POSITION DETAILS: The Psychology Department at Sacramento State has 29 tenure-track faculty as well as multiple lecturers who serve more than 1,400 undergraduate majors and more than 60 graduate students. The Department offers undergraduate coursework in research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis, neuroscience, basic and applied areas of psychology (e.g., applied behavior analysis, clinical, cognitive, community, developmental, happiness, industrial-organizational, sensation/perception, and social) and diversity, including developmental disabilities, aging, gender, sexuality, cross-cultural, and multicultural psychology. In addition to the undergraduate major, the Psychology Department offers an undergraduate certificate in behavior analysis and master's programs in applied behavior analysis, psychological research, and industrial-organizational psychology. Duties of a part-time lecturer include instruction, class preparation, grading, and office hours. Other duties may be assigned based on departmental needs.
