Description SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Engineering Manager manages the day-to-day activities of process engineering, communication with customers regarding requirements, customer quotes and proposals, organization and communication of engineering and product requirements to manufacturing and required parties. The Manager is responsible for product gross margins through process optimization. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Support and enhance sales through technical customer support and project management - Manage the Customer First Article process to develop routers and manufacturing plans for new parts and improvements to existing parts. - Meeting company goals for gross margin performance through regular and targeted analysis of product processing and process capabilities - Continuous improvement of flow and methods for producing clear engineering instructions and requirements for manufacturing - Attaining product gross margin targets - Master manufacturing methods and optimization - Standardization of engineering procedures and outputs - Implement methods to improve accuracy of costing methods and standardization - Review of equipment, methods, and techniques to improve manufacturing ef...
