Overview: The Welding Inspector will provide inspection of contractor’s quality of work in accordance with the client’s policies and procedures as it relates to welding of steel pipe on pipeline construction projects. The Welding Inspector works under the direction of the Chief Inspector, who may assign additional responsibilities to the Inspector as needed. Responsibilities: - At least once per day, verify that the proper welding procedure is used by the other contractors for each project and that the other contractors’ welders are adhering to the parameters in the designated weld procedure.
