Job description

Position Summary Under the supervision of the Senior Chef de Partie, this position is responsible for the cleanliness of all kitchen areas, culinary equipment and utensils including all dishes, glasses and pots/pans while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees. Key Responsibilities: - Organizes, rinses, sprays and loads dishes/cutlery into dishwasher or washes by hand as required - Checks completed load for cleanliness and re-wash if necessary - Reports any malfunctions, breakage or discrepancies to the supervisor - Stores all clean items in the appropriate area - Sorts and removes garbage and recycling - Cleans all general kitchen areas including floors, counters and workspaces - Assists with the receipt of goods into the work area and stock shelves - Prepares some food products as requested - May clean general and common areas in some locations - Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments - Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees) - Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations - Performs other duti...
