Description: The Communications Specialist in the School of Medicine supports the execution of communications strategies, plans, and tactics that advance the school’s tripartite mission of research, education and clinical care. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, has experience using internal communications tools and platforms, and is highly attentive to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Consults with management and staff to design, develop and maintain a website. - Develops, writes and edits various communications materials including correspondence, newsletters, brochures and articles. - Develops and maintains effective methods for distributing communication materials and information. - Maintains required record-keeping and documentation. - May train staff in the use of communications technology. - May utilize various aspects of social media to accomplish work objectives. - Performs related respon...
