Overview: Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain Public Trust Location : Kings Point, NY: (Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. ) Description: C3EL has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to support the mission at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York. The selected candidate will design, implement, troubleshoot, analyze, and maintain Academy networks. Responsibilities include configuring, testing, and maintaining LAN, WAN, DMZ, and wireless networks, as well as related services. The engineer will identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues, and create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks, applications, and appliances. Candidates should have experience working in a government environment and be familiar with NIST and FISMA standards.
