Job Description – Plumbing Apprentice Under the direction of the Plumbing Foreman, The Plumbing Apprentice will assist skilled plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, both industrial and commercial. The apprentice will learn all aspects of plumbing, including the use of tools, materials, and safety practices, while gaining on-the-job experience and formal education to obtain plumbing certification. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assisting with Installations and Repairs: - Help install and repair plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, and water supply systems. - Assist with the installation of water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures. - Help in repairing and replacing damaged pipes and plumbing systems. Maintenance of Plumbing Systems: - Assist with routine maintenance of plumbing systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently. - Help in identifying leaks, clogs, and other issues and report them to a journeyman plumber.
