Description The Department of Psychology in the Dodge Family College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for a full-time, benefits-eligible Lecturer position for a five-year renewable term, non-tenure track. The workload is eight courses per year (four per semester). Ideal candidates will be able to teach a variety of core undergraduate courses such as the following: Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Lifespan Development, Cognitive Psychology, and Social Psychology. Strong teaching evaluations are a must, and experience with large sections is desired. The position begins August 16, 2026. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory teaching performance evaluations. Renewal of the five-year term is contingent upon department needs and future funding approval. The University provides a pathway to promotion to Senior Lecturer and Distinguished Lecturer for renewable-term faculty.
