Press Line Lead - 2nd Shift

Description Job Summary: The Press Line Lead is responsible for supporting the Shift Supervisor by ensuring the press line team meets or exceeds production goals and quality expectations. This position is also responsible for delegating tasks and managing the team to make sure that all duties are performed accurately. Essential Functions: - Supports Press Line Supervisor to complete daily task and duties that are to be completed on the production floor by press line operators. - Assists in supervising employees, assign duties, and creating a shift schedule when needed. - Communicates any mechanical issues to the Shift Supervisor and Maintenance departments for repairs. - Operates the forklift to move and stage the finished material in and out of the production area and out to shipping area. - Reviews the daily assignments and and production reports with the Shift Supervisor at the end of the day. - Reports any issues that arise during the shift to the supervisor and management. - Coordinates the activities of the team to ensure that all processes and procedures are followed accurately and efficiently. - Keeps the team motivated to achieve daily goals and acts as a mentor to other t...
