Job Summary The Incoming Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying incoming electromechanical components, subassemblies, and materials to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. This role is critical in preventing nonconforming material from entering production and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System (QMS). The inspector performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calibrated tools and test equipment, accurately documents inspection results, and communicates discrepancies to Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
