Position Summary: The Cardozo School of Law’s Kathryn O. Greenberg Immigration Justice Clinic is interested in hiring an attorney as a Clinical Teaching Fellow to begin on June 1, 2026. The Immigration Justice Clinic at Cardozo is an in-house year-long intensive live client clinic in which students represent immigrants in a variety of matters. Individual cases most frequently involve deportation/removal proceedings in the immigration and federal courts. Substantively, the clinics’ docket focuses primarily on immigrants facing deportation because of encounters with the criminal legal system and, more generally, on immigration enforcement issues. In addition, students and fellows have the opportunity to represent immigrant community-based and national advocacy organizations engaged in impact projects on cutting-edge immigration issues. Impact litigation and legislative advocacy are mainstays of the clinic’s docket.
