Job description

The role of Grounds Maintenance Operative will include: Assist in responding positively to requests for service to meet customer expectations. - To comply with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and company policies, including carrying out point of work risk assessments - Ensure electronic paperwork is correct and submitted on time. - Regular checks and repairs to play equipment. - Repairs to all elements of the infrastructure of the public open spaces owned by Cornwall Council e.g. paths, steps benches and fencing - Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessments, manufacturer’s guidance and company policy. - Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks.
