As a member of the CAD/CAM team, you will be an active contributor to the factory volume ramp and standardization efforts. Job Description: What you’ll do: - Generate toolpath and create CNC programs utilizing Siemens NX-CAM 2412 - Support large Toshulin VTL processes (up to 2.5m) - Simulate all CNC programs prior to release to the shop floor utilizing Vericut v9.6. - Incorporate on-machine probing for part and process validation (including error trapping) - Define tooling and work holding for new processes as well as optimize tooling and work holding for existing processes - Create and manage tool libraries in a TDM database - Develop new or modify existing processes to ensure safety and process security - Prove out new programs alongside machine operators and manufacturing engineers - Create programs following standards and qualified machining parameters - Provide...
