Job Description WHAT YOU’LL DO: As a Senior Accountant you will ensure that the financial operations of the organization are well-managed, compliant and transparent, contributing to overall business success according to H&M rules and local regulations. You will: - Oversee the management of remaining accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, while staying up to date with changes in local requirements and accounting standards. - Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Review journal entries, reconcile accounts, oversee fixed asset accounting, and verify the accuracy of financial transactions while monitoring the general ledger for discrepancies. - Establish, maintain, and enforce appropriate accounting methods, policies, principles, and backup procedures for all finance‑related operations. - Provide financial insights, support decision‑making, and contribute to projects and initiatives with financial implications. - Monitor and manage cash flow, perform cash flow forecasting, and ensure adequate liquidity in line with H&M financial policy. - Ensure timely and accurate corporate...
