As a PLC/Automation Engineer at Ulan Underground Mine, you will operate as a part of the engineering team reporting into the Engineering Manager. Ulan Underground is an established, efficient and high production underground longwall coal mining operation in the western coalfields of NSW. With state-of-the-art mining equipment and the latest technologies, we are leading exporters in thermal coal. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate has the following skills and experiences: An electrical trade qualification and/or tertiary Engineering qualification, In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems and Rockwell Automation software Knowledge and experience in IT networking and system administration would be desirable. Lead, maintain and develop the automation equipment and communication systems across the operation Strong focus on system reliability, supervising personnel and continuous improvement aligned to delivering Mine site outputs.
