Overview NaphCare is hiring a Supply Clerk to join our team of medical professionals in the Kilby Facility in Mt. Meigs, AL. This posting is open exclusively to current AL DOC incumbent employees. As a Correctional Supply Clerk , you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to performs a variety of duties related to managing and distributing supplies for the medical unit within the correctional facility. Responsibilities: The Supply Clerk is responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies and various clerical tasks to support the healthcare staff and overall function of the medical department. Additional responsibilities may include but not be limited to: - Operating office equipment and using word processing, spreadsheets, and other software applications to prepare reports, correspondence, letters, etc. as applicable. - Creating purchase orders, requisitions, and maintaining inventory of all supplies through the electronic IOS™ purchasing system relevant to the position without supervision. - Processing and maintaining all purchase orders, packing slips, receipts, and inventory within an effective and efficient records management...
