Job description

The Quarry Equipment Operator will primarily be operating a large wheel front-end loader and will be responsible for feeding material to the crushing plant, loading material in off road trucks and trailers, stockpiling material, and sorting material. This position is proficient at throwing-off material in a high-wall operation. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. - Follow all company policies and MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. - Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite. - Operate loader is a safe and efficient manner - Must have good depth perception and coordination to operate controls - Perform pre- and post-inspection checks on equipment - Communicate with onsite foreman of daily work requirements - Follow designated routes adhering to safety policies and procedures in place - Move raw aggregate material from quarry to crushing system - Transport materials throughout quarry into piles, trucks, or crushers - Keep updated logs of completed work - Identify and communicate...
