Description Job Overview: The Yard Technician position is responsible for the following: - Inspecting and filling portable propane tanks - Performing maintenance of propane tanks including revalving, repairing, draining, sanding, and painting - Maintaining outdoor tank storage areas and moving tanks and equipment when necessary Responsibilities and Duties: - Inspects and fills portable propane tanks - Maintains, repairs, and refurbishes propane tanks and equipment - Performs maintenance and upkeep of outdoor tank storage areas - Understands all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and codes pertaining to the maintenance of tanks and propane equipment - Acts as liaison between customers and service branches to address questions, concerns, or complaints - Educates customers on safe and proper operation, maintenance, and safety procedures Requirements: Competencies: - High School diploma or GED - Relevant experience preferred - Employment is conditional on verification of clean driving record, background check(s), and pre-employment/random drug testing - Communication - Technical and mechanical skills - Capable of working independently Available Benefits: - Comprehe...
