Position Summary The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University invites applications for a part-time, 30% appointment, instructor position to one lecture section and 2 laboratory sections of FW424, Wildlife Population Analysis and Management for Fall 2026. This is a 5-month fixed term Instructor with a 100% teaching assignment. The position start date is anticipated to be August 1, 2026; the position end date is anticipated to be December 31, 2026. The FW424, Wildlife Population Analysis and Management course typically has an enrollment of approximately 55 upper-level undergraduate students. It is required of students majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Management, or students majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife with a concentration in Wildlife Biology and Management. The course also is a curricular option for other highly related FW concentrations and majors. The course meets on Wednesdays and Fridays 11:30 AM to 12:20 PM for combined lecture, and for computer labs on Wednesday 3:00 PM to 4:50 PM and Friday 12:40 PM to 2:30 PM.
