Job description
About This Role As an Electrical Engineer in the Carrier Electronics Refrigeration Controls Group, the candidate will play a key role in supporting the Embedded electronic hardware design and platform direction for the Carrier Transicold Division Transportation Refrigeration. The candidate will support New Product Development and Sustaining projects for embedded refrigeration control systems based upon current business priorities and in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Individual contributor experience in the design of embedded electronic control systems throughout a product’s entire life and continuous improvement cycles (ex. Concept, Design, Validate, Certify, Manufacture, Test, Upgrade, Sustain, Sunset) Knowledge of high-volume production PCB soldering processes and electronic assembly Demonstrated experience in electronic component selection, architecture selection, circuit design, analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout and BOM creation Experience with Cadence or other equivalent embedded electronic design software Knowledge of electronic components and circuits including microprocessors, microcontrollers, op-amps, regulators, digita...
