Job Summary – Process Engineer (Job-Shop Engineer) This position provides engineering support and direction for manufacturing tool and die products in a job shop environment. This includes creating and maintaining documentation/information for process routing, manufacturing prints, and related product ECNs. A continuous improvement mindset and ability to handle improvement projects will be critical for this role as Link Tool seeks manufacturing excellence. This position will also support manufacturing by acquiring material and tooling as necessary. Essential Functions and Duties: •The creation and management of manufacturing operation routings. oDetermine the best order of operations to manufacture. oOffer suggestions and improvements on established manufacturing processes. oTroubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes. •Develop an understanding of Link Tool’s equipment capabilities and limitations. oIdentify opportunities for new or upgraded equipment. oAssist in building business cases for capital investments. •Lead continuous improvement projects aimed to reduce costs and improve efficiency. •The creation, documentation, and revision of manufacturing product pri...
