Job DetailsJob Location: Independent Can Co Belcamp - Belcamp, MD 21017Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1stSUMMARY: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to load and unload trucks. Must be the site leader in living and driving the Company Core Values and High-Performance Work Culture. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate forklift to move finished units from manufacturing area to warehouse to load trucks as required Operate forklift to empty scrap and trash hoppers Operate forklift to load and unload trucks as required Perform daily maintenance and Safety Assessment of assigned forklifts Use defined system and process to pick & stage customer loads and warehouse transfers, achieving accurate reporting of items and quantities picked. Ensure paperwork is accurate, complete, and is turned in for processing. Load orders as required. Avoiding damage in loading, shipping, and unloading at the final destination.
