Senior Data Scientist – Global Commercial Forecasting & AI

Job description

The Senior Data Scientist will support data-driven decision-making across IHG’s global commercial organization by developing advanced analytical and machine learning solutions. This role will work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data engineers, and subject matter experts to solve complex problems across Revenue Management, Loyalty, Sales, Operations, and Technology. A key responsibility of this role is to own the development and evolution of IHG’s proprietary demand forecasting model , applying statistical, machine learning, and emerging AI techniques to improve forecast accuracy, scalability, and business relevance. The role will also support ad-hoc analysis of key business KPIs to generate insights, identify performance drivers, and inform commercial decision-making. This position requires a strong production mindset, including experience with version control, reproducible workflows, and ML Ops practices to support scalable and reliable model delivery.
