Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer / Planner with a traffic and safety focus to join our Florida team. This position may be based in our Coral Gables, Deerfield beach, West Palm Beach, Lake Mary, and Orlando, Florida offices. We seek a team player who desires a highly collaborative work environment, has excellent client and communication skills, and strong design capabilities. We seek a candidate with expertise in transportation planning and engineering studies, including expressways, corridors and intersection studies, traffic forecasting, operational analysis, and safety analysis. The ideal candidate will have both a passion for improving the safety of transportation facilities and optimizing the flow of traffic. Opportunities for advancement include leadership and/or project management courses, business development involvement, and delegation of responsibilities to traffic engineering staff.
