Working to protect the state’s environment and heritage. - Ranger (Grade 1-2) – multiple opportunities available - 1 x Ongoing Opportunity - 1 x Temporary ( 27 August 2027) full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity - Ongoing role located in Bucketty; Temporary role located in Bulga - Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $74,213 to $114,627 + employer's contribution to superannuation and 17% loading for working weekends and public holidays About the role: National Parks and Wildlife Service has unique opportunities for Rangers to join a well-established and cohesive team to contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and Aboriginal heritage. As a Ranger, you will provide effective and efficient management of natural, historic and Aboriginal heritage by undertaking, coordinating and supervising projects, environmental assessments, visitor and stakeholder liaison, plus field-based activities including burn planning/wildfire management and law enforcement.
