Cold Header Operator/Machinist

Job Summary Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Cold Header Machinist / Operator to join our night shift team in Maize, Kansas. This position supports the Main Valve Housing department by setting up, operating, and maintaining cold heading and related machining equipment to meet production schedules, quality requirements, and customer expectations with minimal downtime. The ideal candidate will demonstrate very strong mechanical aptitude, high attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Primary Responsibilities: - Set up, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on cold headers/cold formers and multi-spindle screw machines - Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to machine parts to specification while maintaining required tolerances - Perform in-process inspections to ensure efficient and accurate production prior to approval - Inspect finished product to verify conformance with quality standards and specifications - Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances - Work independently and take ownership of assigned equipment and tasks - Identify and communicate opportunit...
