Job description

Role Summary The Global Accounting Specialist supports accounting, reporting, and internal controls for benefit-related areas, including restructuring, Board of Directors compensation, among other processes. The role supports period-end close, SEC reporting, audit activities, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, executing sensitive accounting activities in accordance with Pfizer accounting policies, internal control requirements, and external reporting standards. The Global Accounting Specialist will be expected to manage workload, deliverables especially around peak times during month end close and quarter end deliverables. The Global Accounting Specialist partners cross functionally with Divisional Controllers; People Experience; Corporate Treasury; Core Operations; KPMG; among other; to ensure complex benefit-related transactions are recorded, reconciled, and reported accurately and completely.
