Job DetailsJob Location: Tampa Office - Tampa, FL 33614Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeSalary Range: $49,500.00 - $49,500.00 Salary/yearThe Housing Specialist provides services to current and former foster care young adults seeking safe and affordable housing options with the ability to learn life skills. The Housing specialist will work with community partners to identify the appropriate placement that will allow for continued support, guidance and life skills personal development. The Housing specialist will provide 24 hour crisis management to youth participating in Extended Foster Care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 1) Educate young adults on life skills related to securing and maintaining appropriate housing. 2) Educate young adults on the Fair Housing Act and their rights as a tenant. 3) For young adults in semi-practice housing and any high risk young adults, conduct weekly face to face contact for the first 90 days and monthly thereafter.
