Vehicle Fire Suppression Service/Installation Technician

This position is responsible for the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of fire suppression systems that are installed on an array of off-road mobile equipment such as Dozers, Loaders, Cranes, Haul Trucks, Compactors, Excavators, etc. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, testing, and performing system repairs in accordance with manufacturers’ manuals, identifying & correcting problems or system deficiencies, and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Install or upgrade suppression systems on large, off-highway, mobile equipment Test and repair systems already in place Perform inspections to ensure suppression systems are installed properly Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.
