General Function: Under the supervision of the Child Care Director and in harmony with the mission and values of the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas, the Camp Site Director shall be responsible for assisting in developing and managing all aspects of a licensed summer day camp program in accordance with the Virginia Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers and policies of the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsulas. Qualifications: 1. Minimum of 21 years of age. 2. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience required; core competency and course work required per the Virginia Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers. 3. At least one year experience in a related field; YMCA experience preferred. 4. Minimum of 1 year staff supervisory experience required. 5.
