50% Staff Nurse - Adult Cardiac Cath Lab – UI Heart and Vascular Center - ( 26002521 ) Description Qualified candidates in our procedural areas may be eligible for a sign-on incentive of up to $15,000. (Current UI employees are not eligible for incentive) The UI Heart and Vascular Center is seeking a part-time (50%) Staff Nurse to provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic adult cardiac catheterization procedures. Ensure open and effective channels of communication with patients, family/caregivers and all health care team members involved in the pre/intra/post-care of adult cardiac catheterization patients. Procedures include (but are not limited to): angioplasty, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, Swan Ganz/right heart catheterization, structural heart, and pericardiocentesis.
