Description Job Summary: Demonstrates a high level of customer service by working with customers, account managers and contractors to coordinate and create material lists for design projects in a timely and professional manner. Create, maintain, and update estimates of various complexity using customer & contractor drawings, sketches and verbal direction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. - Performs detailed take-offs on various commercial projects per specifications - (language about RFIs, change orders, addendums) - Size joists, beams, and headers with the aid of manufacturer’s software - Create floor joist layouts - Interact with truss manufacturers - Ensures the copying and scanning is kept up to date - Transfers bids into the point of sale software - Stays current with all local and state codes Qualifications: - Requires mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, to make metric system conversions, exchange rates, and discount calculations. - Demonstrates a...
