Description Pacific Wound Center is a leading podiatry practice in the Stockton area dedicated to helping people of all ages and lifestyles get back to enjoying the activities they love. Our team is looking for a hard-working medical assistant who will work with the physicians and other members of the practice by performing a variety of clinical and administrative duties. This person will work to fulfill patient needs and ensure smooth patient flow within the practice. Duties and Responsibilities: - Greet patients on the phone and in person - Place patients in the exam rooms - Take vital signs of patients - Assist and setup up for examination, treatment, and procedures - Keep accurate patient files - Apply dressing, bandages, and splints as ordered by podiatrist - Maintain a sanitized and safe working environment - Maintain HIPAA Requirements: - Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision - Strong computer skills and use of Microsoft Office - Knowledge of basic medical procedures such as dressing a wound - Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen - Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy - Stron...
