Academies of Math and Science: 2nd Grade Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year Location: 7301 E Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85209 Compensation Range: $48,334.25 – $54,571.89 (DOE) Start Date: Summer 2026 Position Overview: AMS is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher for the AMS Power Campus in Mesa who is passionate about helping scholars deepen their reading comprehension, writing skills, and foundational mathematics knowledge. This role focuses on strengthening literacy development while preparing students for increased academic rigor in upper elementary grades. AMS teachers use data-driven instruction, structured classroom systems, and collaborative planning to ensure every scholar makes measurable academic progress.
