Overview Post Title: Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist (Pain) Post Status: Temporary Specified Purpose Contract Department: Location: Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 Reports to: Physiotherapy Manager Salary: Appointment will be made in line with Government pay policy. €71,405 to €82,860 Hours of work: Full time (35 hours per week) Closing Date: 12 noon on 22/5/2026 (Please note the hospital reserves the right to close the competition early should a substantial number of applications be received) Position Summary: Physiotherapist Clinical Specialist will work as part of the musculoskeletal physiotherapy team and the consultant led MDT pain service in Beaumont Hospital. Duties include: Attendance at consultant led clinics: -Assessment of new patients from the consultant waiting list and referral of patients to the relevant pathways for ongoing management. -Review of return patients to the clinic. Provision of specialist physiotherapy care to complex pain patients referred to the physiotherapy department. Consultancy on pain referrals received to other services within physiotherapy department.
