Job Description The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) is seeking a Victim Services Advocate to join its Survivor Services Bureau (SSB) as part of the newly established Early Engagement Team (EET). This innovative team, within the Special Victims Bureau, is focused on providing proactive support in intimate partner violence cases through pre-arrest investigations. The EET ensures that survivors receive immediate and comprehensive access to essential services and resources, helping them navigate the complex legal and emotional challenges they face. In this position, the Victim Services Advocate will provide a full range of services to survivors of intimate partner violence, witnesses, and their families. These services may include short-term crisis intervention, community referrals, orientation to the criminal justice system, case status updates, and court support. The EET analyst will divide their time between the downtown office and the Washington Heights office.
