Entry salary is $37,923.80 ($18.23/hour): GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of preventative maintenance and repair tasks at the Oconee County Detention Center, The Law Enforcement Center and all substations, to include the communication towers, and equipment. This position performs preventative maintenance and makes repairs to electrical, plumbing systems, HVAC, and other mechanical systems. Provides assistance with minor building construction, general grounds keeping, renovation, and general carpentry work. This position serves as a liaison between contractors to obtain quotes and escorts civilians needing access to certain areas as they perform work.
