Job description

Pay Range: $28.17 - $31.30 Essential Functions: - Conduct a pre-trip inspection at the beginning of each workday. - Operate and maneuver delivery trucks and trailers into tight parking areas while watching for traffic, buildings, and pedestrians. - Read work orders/load sheets or follow oral instructions to ascertain the needs of each account. - Load and unload products from company vehicles using hand trucks and pallet jacks. - Check-in every order with the account and bill the customer accurately. - Knowledge of all products, current and new. - Make sure the customer is aware of all promotions. - Sanitize the delivery truck daily as part of your end-of-the-day procedures along with a post-trip inspection of the delivery truck. - Provide customers with Point-of-Sale materials. - Always maintain the correct temperature of your truck/trailer. - Always observe all driving laws, and use safe and defensive driving. - Learn to operate the Handheld Route accounting computer and printer assigned to each driver - Check product date codes and rotate product stock. - Account for all inventory on route through driver master load sheets, invoicing, and end-of-day procedures. - Maintain an accu...
