As part of expanding the Centre for Visual Data Science and the Centre for Digital Humanities, the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, invites applications for a 3-year assistant professor position in Computer Science with a focus on interdisciplinary data science. The ideal candidate holds a degree in computer science, data science, applied mathematics, or a closely related field, and demonstrates a strong track record of research and development in interdisciplinary projects. We particularly welcome applicants with experience collaborating across domains such as the humanities, social sciences, biology, health, or defense. Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct research in interdisciplinary collaborations with domain experts is a fundamental requirement for employment at the Centre for Visual Data Science and the Centre for Digital Humanities.
